Ab-Soul has been pretty giving with new material from his upcoming These Days… album. Today, he teams up with his TDE brethren ScHoolboy Q on “Hunnid Stax.”
Back by gloomy production, the duo spit verses full of the usual rap cliches about the desire for cash. It’s actually kind of surprising that Soul would take this route on these sonics, but perhaps it’s best to expect the unexpected on the California native’s next body of work. Mac Miller assists with drowsy, euphoric chorus.
