Lil Wayne is a known sports aficionado and a friend of ESPN’s First Take. Yesterday, the rap star appeared on the special NBA Finals edition of the show to talk about why the Miami Heat will win a third consecutive NBA Title.

“Well, because last night obviously is something we’re probably never going to see again,” said Wayne in response to why the Heat will win despite Tuesday’s (June 10) 19 point loss. The YMCMB frontman cited dismal performances from guards Dwyane Wade and Mario Chalmers, as well as Chris Bosh taking less than five shots as prime reasons for the loss.

Needless to say that Wayne’s time on the show was much different than DJ Khaled’s earlier this week.

With the San Antonio Spurs up 2-1 in the seven game series, Miami needs a win tonight. Basketball fans awaiting the 9 PM match up can feel free to watch Lil Wayne’s First Take appearance below.
