Nas has just signed West Coast rapper Fashawn to his newly launched Mass Appeal Records. And with that kind of backing, the Boy Meets World rapper goes to work on his long-awaited sophomore LP, The Ecology.

“Fashawn is one of the most underrated in the game,” said Nas in a press release statement. “The world is gonna know soon. We’re excited to have him as a part of the family.”

The Ecology will be Fashawn’s inaugural release under the Mass Appeal imprint and will boast notable appearances from Nas, Aloe Blacc and more.

Fashawn first garnered major attention circa 2009 for the release of his debut album Boy Meets World. He later landed on the 2010 XXL Freshman cover with Wiz Khalifa, J. Cole, Big Sean and more.

Congrats to Fashawn, we wish him the best. The Ecology descends September 30.
