As previously reported, Remy Ma was not able to come home on Thursday, July 31. She was involved in an incident on July 21 that has delayed her official release from prison.

Via XXL:

An official at the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision informed XXL that Remy Ma was involved in an incident on July 21 that will delay her release, which was previously scheduled to happen today. The disciplinary problem was a phone violation involving a call to a third party. The Bronx native will have to wait until early next week at least to be released after the prison’s review is complete.

July 21 happens to be the same day Remy Ma called into Power 105.1 to do an interview with Angie Martinez. It’s unclear if the two incidents are related, however, and no more information was available as of press time.

Remy, born Reminisce Smith, is serving time in prison after she was convicted of assault, illegal weapon possession and attempted coercion circa 2008.

Stay tuned as the story develops.
