Bobby Shmurda better use part of of his what’s rumored to be a nearly $1 million record deal to pay for his criminal defense lawyer. Reportedly, the “H0t Ni**a” rapper was popped for gun possession in Brownsville in early June.
It turns out the Shmoney Dance maven was out on $10,000 bail the entire time his song, and Vine, was blowing up.
Reports Page Six:
A Brooklyn rapper whose boisterous “Shmoney Dance” has been copied by megawatt stars like Beyoncé, Justin Bieber and even Peyton Manning — was quietly busted for allegedly having a loaded weapon earlier this year, The Post has learned.
Bobby Shmurda, 20, who spouts violent lyrics, such as, “We keep 9 millis on my block, n—-s/Known to get busy with them Glocks, n—–,” was collared with a 9mm Glock pistol when cops spotted him showing off the weapon in a Brownsville apartment on June 3, court papers say.
Despite the loud boasts in his rap lyrics, Shmurda — whose real name is Ackquille Pollard — allegedly tried to hide the gun in a couch. But it was too late and cops busted him, according to the court papers.
He was charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon, which can bring up to 15 years in prison.
Needless to say, now is the time for Bobby Shmurda to leave that life behind.
TMZ reported that there was a drive-by shooting after a nightclub show in New Jersey, but he was not involved.
