The tandem of Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan continue their win streak with “Hold Us,” a Dun Deal-produced track featuring their Atlanta affiliate Peewee Longway.
Per usual, the duo draw in listeners with their alluring melodies; it’s Rich Homie who leads the brigade on the record’s chorus, though history suggests that Thugga is equally capable.
The ATLien’s penchant for sing-songy hooks and rhymes has no bearing on their street oriented content. And it’s pretty much assumed that said topic will dominate any record featuring Longway, a rapper whose traditionally machine gun-style flow is drastically slowed down here. But that’s far from a bad thing.
