Brittney Griner‘s marriage to Glory Johnson is over before it even really started. The WNBA star has filed for an annulment, and that’s only the tip of the struggle.
Reports TMZ Sports:
Griner and Johnson tied the knot on May 8th in a small ceremony in Arizona … just weeks after they were both arrested in a domestic violence incident at their home.
The move is especially shocking considering Johnson just announced she’s pregnant.
Johnson and Griner have been together for a while — and even appeared on an episode of “Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta” together back in January.
Even more shocking is that Johnson claims she was “blindsided” by Griner’s move.
In the court docs, Griner noted that she had no connection with the baby, which makes it seem that she wasn’t in the loop with the whole let’s get pregnant, have a kid and a raise family together part of the deal.
Both Griner and Johnson have been suspended by the WNBA for seven games due to their fisticuffs.
The struggle is real.
