YG may be largely off the grid as he recovers from his gunshot injuries but that doesn’t mean the mayor of Bompton has taken a day off in the executive chair. Singer Tanea, the L.A. rapper’s frequent collaborator, has just signed her name on the dotted line to be a part of 4HUNNID and has released her song titled “Trippin'” which will serve as the first taste of her upcoming EP, Female Intuition.
I’ve always love what Tanea brings to the table, she’s a real artist with relatable stories to tell,” said YG. “Trippin is just an introduction to who she – keep your eye on her, she’s bringing fire.”
Tanea shares a similar background as her new label head (born and raised in the most desolate parts of L.A.; not afraid of a few tattoos; has zero tolerance for hood politics) and will undoubtedly be bringing her “krazy life” to the soundproof booth.
