After serving nearly five years in prison for drug conspiracy, Roc-A-Fella Records Co-Founder Kareem “Biggs” Burke is now free.

The man of very few words who is also commonly known as “Hoffa,” made a recent appearance at an event for clothing brand Fourth Of November that went down on Thursday, Jan. 21 in Manhattan.

In 2010 Biggs was arrested in a sting operation dubbed “Operation Green Venom.” Authorities seized nearly two million dollars in cash and over 200 pounds of high grade pot. The federal government alleged that Biggs and 50 drug associates, controlled much of the marijuana trafficking throughout New York City. He plead guilty to conspiring to distribute 100 kilos of marijuana in 2012.

While the details of his freedom aren’t exactly clear, it is rumored he was quietly released in November 2015.

Fourth Of November, a Brooklyn-based custom denim company, is the latest venture Biggs is a part of. Burke came home to a resounding welcome from old friends, associates and fans via social media. In attendance at the ever was DJ Clark Kent (who was curating the sounds), Cam’ron, Pusha T, Jay Z associate Emory Jones and many more more.

Burke founded Roc-A-Fella Records with Damon Dash and Jay Z in 1996. The three would go on to sell their remaining shares of the company to Universal Music Group in 2004.

Peep some pictures of a slimmer and trimmer Biggs on the flip.
