New York Giants kicker Josh Brown is a low down and dirty dude, according to recently released documents. The football player who is currently still on the roster admitted to abusing his wife, using women for sex, and maintaining a robust porn addiction.

The confessions to the acts came by way of a series of journals, emails, and a letter to friends that were obtained by SNY. Brown’s ex-wife, Molly, handed the documents over to police after Brown’s 2015 arrest for fourth-degree domestic violence assault. The docs got air time on Wednesday (Oct. 19) by way of the Kings County Sheriff’s Office in Washington state. The league gave the placekicker a slap on the wrist in the form a one-game suspension for the charge but this latest bit of news might add more trouble.

In the documents, Brown named himself “God” and his wife as “my slave” along with other disturbing revelations. Brown described himself as a “deviant” who used women for sex and never emotionally cared for them. Further, Brown admitted to using porn to develop a bridge for human contact.

From SNY.com:

“I have physically, mentally, emotionally and verbally been a repulsive man,” Brown wrote in one of his journal entries. Just below that he circled the words “I have abused my wife.”

Josh went even further in a letter he wrote to friends in March, 2014, apparently as part of his counseling sessions with Molly, saying his issues with his behavior towards women date back to when he was “molested as a young boy (around 6)”.

“I have been a liar for most of my life,” he wrote. “I made selfish decisions to use and abuse women starting at the age of 7 to fill this void. I objectified women and never really worried about the pain and hurt I caused them. My ability to connect emotionally to other people was zero. My empathy levels were zero.

“Because I never handled these underlying issues I became an abuser and hurt Molly physically, emotionally and verbally. I viewed myself as God basically and she was my slave.”

The Giants stood by their man through his ordeal and he’s rewarded them by doing his job as expected and he was also given a two-year contract at the top of the year. To Brown’s credit, he seems remorseful about his actions in much of the writing but time will tell if the Giants will continue to protect the player or even keep him on the roster.

The NFL is reviewing the latest documents according to a statement issued earlier today. But according to ESPN, the league was privy to this information and chose to ignore it which would be yet another blemish on Commissioner Roger Goodell’s tenure.

If the league did indeed excuse Brown’s actions and his admittance, they’re just as foul as Brown is for terrorizing his wife and the palms of his hands with his skin flick overuse. And get this, Brown was actually arrested twice for violating a protective order against his ex-wife. So basically, he can’t keep his hands to himself literally and otherwise.
