A discussion about Sandy Hook turned into a mini-shootout when a Missouri man got tired of talking, and let his gun speak for him.

Lester Davis of Wenzville, was put behind bars for pulling out his weapon during a discussion in All Cuts Barber Shop, Tuesday (Dec. 18).

Things turned sour when the unnamed patron said that the shooting spree— which killed 20 children and seven adults— made him want to take the life of killer Adam Lanza. Last Friday, the 20-year-old killed his mother before heading to nearby Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., and fired upwards of 100 rounds into his victims, before turning the gun on himself.

For whatever reason, Davis assumed that the man’s statements towards Lanza, was a threat to him and responded, “You want to murder me?” He then went out to his car, retrieved his pistol and fired three times in the man’s direction.

No one was hurt in the incident.

The 57-year-old turned himself in to authorities. He faces assault, armed criminal action, and unlawful possession of a weapon charges, and is being held on $400,000 bond.
