Roc Marciano had one of his best years ever. But before 2012 comes to a close, the Long Island rapper drops one more loose cut called “Bally Belts.”

Once again, Marci sets a cinematic scene via bars loaded with vivid imagery and chillingly slick wordplay. “I stood covered in a long mink/Look sleek, the sneaks is like a toucan beak/The wolfman dance with the sheep, a grand a piece keep my hands greased,” spits the Marcberg MC. As we’ve said many times before, writing down and reading the words will never give this man’s flow justice.

A somber groove infused with a mean guitar lick and a soul vocal hum, produced by Marciano himself, only helps the ride. You won’t find this on Marci’s critically acclaimed new album, Reloaded. But you can peep the Jason Goldwatch directed “76” video here for a taste of what you’re missing if the album didn’t make your rotation.
