A new Chinese New Year means a plethora of fresh Nike kicks that pay homage to the year’s animal. Nike Basketball and Nike Sportswear has unveiled its 2013 Year of the Snake collection, which was also inspired by Kobe Bryant, that includes the Kobe System 8, Nike Air Force 1 and the Nike Zoom Huarache 2K4.

Specific models include in the collection include Nike Air Force 1 CMFT that’s enhanced with Lunarlon cushioning in the midsole along with it Nike Air unit in the heel that is mostly red, for China, and features red & gold stitches on the Nike Swoosh, and red snake print leather. There is also a HI version of the CMFT that mostly black with hits of python print leather. There is also Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite in the set with a black snakeskin design in this set, too. 

There are also three different versions of Kobe Bryant’s Kobe 8 System signature basketball shoe within the collection. The illest is probably the red suede version that uses Vac-Tech and laser-etching technologies in the upper (the Black snake print version is no slouch, too).

The surprise piece in the collection is easily the Nike Zoom Huarache 2K4 basketball shoes. The game changing sneaker includes red snake print leather and gold stitches at the toe and heel as well as a purple outlined Nike Swoosh.

The Nike Air Force 1 Hi CMFT, Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite, Nike Kobe 8 Black are out January 18. The Nike Air Force 1 Hi CMFT,Nike Zoom Huarache 2K4 and Nike Kobe 8 Red  is out January 25.
