What with all that the YMCMB crew has been through in the last few days, a celebration would likely be welcomed with open arms. Today comes Mack Maine’s video for “Celebrate,” featuring Lil Wayne and Talib Kweli.

Toasting it up heavily in the visual, the trio trek down memory lane in celebration of their accomplishments. Talib and Weezy tend to be masterful in their craft, but the Young Money president is still getting his sea legs. However, his lyrics on this joint are not shy of candor.

“See I’m the oldest son of Mary and Joe, so I gotta’ fulfill my purpose before I’m buried, ya know?,” Maine rhymes. “My mama say she havin’ visions of me being a missionary/In the hood lookin’ at me is a walking visionary/So I sit back and wonder will I ever have my time to shine, and die like Pac in his prime?/Or will I go out like Len Bias, and O.D. before the tryouts?”

“Celebrate” appears on Kweli’s Attack the Block mixtape. View the video below.
