Adding to the good news, it appears that Wayne will finally have the freedom to release his long-awaited Tha Carter V album, but will do so outside of the Cash Money Records wheelhouse.

The ongoing legal woes over at Cash Money Records continue to mount with the latest move involving former artist, Jay Sean. The company has to pay back the British singer’s production company a total of $1.14 million in back royalties over a handful of songs Jay Sean recorded some time ago.
Lil Wayne and Birdman have essentially kissed and made up, with the latter noting that it’s “YMCMB for life” recently in Miami. However, Weezy is still suing his daddy for putting his album, Tha Carter V, on the shelf.
