Top Dawg Entertainent MC ScHoolboy Q helps you start your weekend right by dropping a new tune called “Yay Yay.” The song serves as the first single from his forthcoming new album, Oxmyoron

The song sounds hand built for listening to while driving slow or puffing on some of that green thanks hypnotic production courtesy of  Boi-1da and The Maven Boys. If you paid attention, you’ll notice that this is the song that was playing in that video of ScHoolboy’s TDE buddy Kendrick Lamar listening to Jay-Z’s verse on “B-tch, Don’t Kill My Vibe” for the first time.

ScHoolboy recently spoke to MTV News about his new album, revealing some of its guest. “I worked with Pharrell on the album, I worked with Kendrick on the album, you know, like the homies, A$AP Rocky, Danny Brown,” said the “Hands On The Wheel” rapper. “I just kept it real in house with my homies. This my first album; it’s real special to me. I don’t wanna be messing with this dude, with this dude, this dude. It’s all in house, it’s the same Q. Like the fans, I’mma give ’em what they want.”
