Diddy’s Bad Boy films imprint is the latest entity to feel the woes of legal drama.

As previously reported Diddy’s Sean John clothing line opted to sue the landlord of their flagship store citing sidewalk scaffolding as the reason for lower sales

Now the tables have turned and Diddy’s Bad Boy Films is being taken to court for its latest release, “Notorious.”

The film company is being sued for copyright infringement due to a scene in the movie where a billboard is displayed.

Billboard model Angelyne is suing Bad Boy along with Fox Searchlight Pictures and State Street Pictures for using her image in the movie.

According to the court document filed in Los Angeles District Court, Angelyne claims that the defendants knowingly used a billboard with her image for a 12 second shot in Notorious. It states,

“At no time has Angelyne authorized any of the defendants to reproduce, adapt or distribute any image containing her copyrighted billboard for use in the `Notorious’ motion picture, a a result of the billboard’s use in the film, Angelyne claims she has suffered “loss of reputation and standing in the community.”

She’s seeking $100,000 in damages.

I had no idea there was such thing as a  Billboard model.

To each his own, I guess.

Good luck Puff.
