DJ Mustard is officially down with The Roc. The West Coast producer signed a management deal with Jay’s growing Roc Nation imprint, a publicist for the rapper confirmed to Hip-Hop Wired Monday (April 29).

Mustard’s career will be guided by longtime industry executive, Jay Brown. “I’m excited to take my career to the next level with Roc Nation, and Jay Brown!” Mustard said in a statement to us. “Looking forward to working with  Roc Nation artists.”

The aforementioned “artists” on the Roc Nation roster feature tons of big names in the rap world and beyond, including J.Cole, Wale, Rihanna, and Jay Electronica.

A native of Los Angeles, the 22-year-old producer is the man behind hits like “I’m Different” by 2 Chainz, and Tyga’s “Rack City.”

In addition to his new deal, Mustard will be spinning at the Red Bull Music Academy Festival in New York City on May 22. He’s also working on developing new producers, more new music, and a mixtape, to be released June 3.
