DJ Mustard has come a long way since being introduced as YG’s DJ and producer. The Compton native is now a sought-after beat masters skilled in crafting ratchet hits most notably for the likes of 2 Chainz (“I’m Different“) and Tyga (“Rack City”).
DJ Mustard is officially down with The Roc. The West Coast producer signed a management deal with Jay’s growing Roc Nation imprint, a publicist for the rapper confirmed to Hip-Hop Wired Monday (April 29).
Regardless of the “Make It Nasty” title, three of the women hired for the video shoot weren’t willing to go that far. Tyga is being sued by a trio of women who appeared in the video, because the explicit version shows their exposed breasts without their consent.
The publicity gods are definitely on the side of Tyga this week.
Tyga’s smash single “Rack City” has done more for his career than he ever could’ve dreamed of. The Young Money star is now slated to perform at the adult film version of the Oscars, the AVN Awards.
