It’s customary for rappers to take their professional endeavors past the music industry. Wiz Khalifa, a superstar in his own right, is looking to display said entrepreneurship skills with a clothing and lifestyle brand named FRESHKO.

Taylor Gang member Berner and noteworthy fashion veteran Sketch, who helped develop and design Diamond Supply Co.’s identity with childhood friend Nick Tershay, are assisting the Pittsburgh native’s efforts, which he describes as “above and beyond your average clothing line.”

The initial drop will include 300 pieces, 150 of which will be available at the brand’s unveiling tomorrow, May 1, while the remainder will be sold via the online store.

Wiz is no stranger to fashion partnerships, having recently revealed that he formed a deal with Converse. While the nature of their business is currently unknown, hopefully Wiz and co. have gained enough knowledge to ensure that the brand will flourish.

Fans in the Los Angeles area should check out the FREHSKO in-store event held by Wiz, Berner and Sketch at Tradition, located in the Beverly Center in 4PM pacific standard time, May 1. See a portion of the brand’s press release and a flyer for the unveiling below. Read the full statement here.

It is a movement, lifestyle and stee with deep roots in graffiti, music, art and fashion. A few ways to describe our style, which we like to call stee, is smooth, timeless, relevant, classic, balance, versatile, strong, positive and universal. As Wiz said music, graffiti, art, skating & even dancing all fall under the same roof -skills- a way to express yourself, be apart of a team and put vision & knowledge of your craft out there to share with others. That is what we are building at Freshko, a skilled team.
