Pharrell Williams has signed on for Rihanna’s Styled to Rock reality competition. Skateboard P was announced as a mentor on the program, set to air on the Style Network.

“We are delighted to have Pharrell, who is a driving force in both the music industry and fashion world, serve as a mentor on ‘Styled to Rock,” Style Media president  Salaam Coleman Smith said in a statement to Hip-Hop Wired. “Pharrell’s unique aesthetic and commitment to individuality combined with Rihanna’s vision for this series will enable our aspiring designers to hone their craft and learn from the very people who set the trends.”

Williams’ fashion expertise is as lauded as his music. Over the years, the Virginia native has become a style icon, launching his own line Billionaire Boys Club, and hailed for fashion evolution.

Executive produced by Rihanna, Styled to Rock features 12 contestants competing in weekly challenges of designing for A-list celebrity guest stars. The celebrity guest of the week will decide which designer accurately interpreted their vision, an advance them to the next round, until only two are left to battle out for the main prize.

Styled to Rock will premiere sometime this year.
