On this fine Friday morning, the Hip-Hop gods have blessed us with new tunes from Wu-Tang Clan. The track is expertly titled “Execution In Autumn,” and is presumably the first sampling from the legendary group’s forthcoming album A Better Tomorrow.
Listeners get a few potent bars from RZA, Inspectah Deck, Raekwon, and U-God over a knocking boom-bap beat by producer Frank Dukes. Personally, we would have liked to hear more of the Killer Bees on the cut, but such is life.
If things go as planned, A Better Tomorrow will release some time in July. Wu-Tang will commemorate the project and their 20th anniversary with two shows in the UK this summer. The first is scheduled for July 25 at O2 Apollo in Manchester and another the following day, July 26, at O2 Academy, Brixton in London. Fans can purchase your tickets here.
