Rapper and actor Feli Fame is gearing up to release a short film called Dirty Laundry: Greed Has No Face. The movie follows a young man trying to do better for himself and his family. However, he experiences a life changing moment when his laundromat is overtaken by criminals. After facing a decision and ultimately making the wrong choice, everything begins to spiral out of control for the protagonist.

Initially inspired to write the treatment by a song of his, the 2012 Coors Light Coldest MC winner realized its potential and made it into a film. Also, this isn’t Fame’s first time acting; he played a role in 50 Cent’s Before I Self Destruct. The New Jersey native credits that experience as one of the primary motivations for venturing out into independent cinema.

Directed by Anthony Scott-Deperto, the film was written and produced by Feli Fame himself and is scheduled for a July 30 release date. Fame also has a companion street album for the film aptly titled Dirty Laundry.
