In collaboration with Diddy’s Revolt TV, Wale returns with a heartfelt documentary to support his third studio album The Gifted.
This visual walks us through the DMV rapper’s come up in Washington, D.C. and his ascension to fame. In 30-minutes of footage, Folarin provides a first-person account of his narrative. Additionally, his close friends, associates, and Maybach Music Group team also give anecdotes about his struggles, turmoils and triumphs.
Coodie and Chike of Creative Control manned the manned the camera for this effort.
Considering that Revolt TV was recently picked up by Time Warner Cable for distribution and is primed to be the biggest launch in television history when it debuts this fall, we’d say Wale chose the perfect platform to tell his story.
