A settlement has been reached in the wrongful death lawsuit of Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein.

As previously reported DJ Am’s death shocked the world in 2009 after he accidentally overdosed on prescription pain killers.

Following that his mother filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Learjet Plane Company for a prior plane crash that left AM severely burned.

According to AM’s mother Andrea Gross, the company is to blame for her son’s death because of the burns which she believes caused his fatal overdose.

Now his mother’s allegations have been served in a court room but unfortunately are being kept confidential.

No details of the settlement have been discerned to the public.

We do know however that Clay Lacy Aviation and Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company were also named in connection with the crash.

The late DJ AM won a BET Hip-Hop award for ‘DJ Of The Year’ this year.
