Bubbling rhymer Phil Adé returns with a mellow groove set to appear on his R.O.S.E. project called “Xscape.” As the title implies, the track samples the 90’s, Atlanta-based group of the same name.

“Wait-wait, ’cause time is all it takes/I get tired of these hoes, so you’ll be my escape,” chants the chorus. The hook pads a pair of verses from the DMV native, who interweaves slick lines about his relationship with the apple of his eye in his rhymes. Produced by Ashton Gold, expect “Xscape,” “Nas Told Me,” and more to rest comfortably on R.O.S.E. (Result Of Society’s Evils), due out July 30. Hear Adé’s new jam below.
