Australian group Hiatus Kaiyote have a certified groove on their hands with “Nakamarra.” Legendary A Tribe Called Quest member Q-Tip thinks so as well, and he added a verse to the track to prove it.

Whether it be the soulful instrumentation or the heartwarming vocals by lead singer Nai Palm, this jam will have you tapping your toes emphatically. Kamal The Abstract’s quick 16 bars only adds to the song’s natural aesthetic.

Love is the clearly the sentiment on the track, but that didn’t stop Tip from injecting some social commentary with lines like, “They rather get our secrets/And then openly mistreat us/Take our color and our culture from the foul way they breed us.”

Do yourself a favor, and fill your ears with a very good tune. Check out Hiatus Kaiyote’s “Nakamarra (Remix)” below.
