Kelly Rowland released perhaps her most emotional song to date with “Dirty Laundry,” and follows up today with an equally heartfelt visual.

The tune details the Destiny Child member’s frustrations with her career — including a period in time when she was jealous of former group mate Beyoncé’s success — and more importantly, her experiences being in a physically and emotionally abusive relationship.

Like the track itself, the video takes us through Rowland’s various stages of discontent and ultimately her journey to proverbial freedom.

The songstress can be seen laying in water in the fetal position, while singing the extremely candid lyrics co-written by The-Dream and herself.

“Dirty Laundry” is one of a bevy of quality tracks that appear on Kelly Rowland’s Talk A Good Game album, which is currently available on iTunes. See the cinematic treatment below.
