There is no question that The-Dream‘s choices when it comes to fashionable attire have been suspect at best and highly unfortunate at their worst. Luckily for the R&B crooner, GQ magazine stepped in and gave him a much needed makeover.

Says GQ:

When Terius Nash, a.k.a. The-Dream, isn’t writing and producing mega-hits like Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies” or Rihanna’s “Umbrella,” he’s dropping solo albums (IV Play came out in May). But for a brilliant man, he’s made some bad style choices. Witness Jay-Z’s Grammy dis (“I would like to thank the swap meet for his hat”). Or Google “The-Dream wedding outfit.”

The mistake he makes is one a lot of peacocky guys commit: too much of everything. “I’ll go into Bergdorf and see a piece that’s beautiful,” he says. “It may look tacky with my jeans, but I don’t give a f-ck.”

Clearly, you should, Terius. Check out behind the scenes video of The-Dream getting outfitted properly below.
