There’s been an undeniable resurgence in west coast rap over the last year or so. But where the emphasis has been on Los Angeles, California’s Bay Area (particularly Richmond, CA) have a lot to offer Hip-Hop, too. With that, the Internets receive a new mixtape from HBK Gang called Gang Forever.

Fans may be familiar with the clique because of their bubbling member Iamsu!‘s solo material. Now, listeners can get acquainted with the remaining affiliates Skipper, P-Lo, CJ, Kool John, and their production core, The Invasion.

The project clocks in at 17 tracks and dons minimal guest features outside of the crew. Each track is like a melting pot for the respective styles for each artist. In other words, don’t expect another Iamsu! tape.

Their work ethic alone almost ensures HBK Gang’s survival in the game. With that said, lend an ear to a group you’ll be hearing for years to come via Gang Forever below.
