The two New York emergency medical technicians that were suspended without pay for not helping a dying pregnant woman are denying any wrong doing.

As previously reported 25-year-old Eutisha Revee Rennix died December 9 while working at a Brooklyn restaurant after complaining of shortness of breath and going into cardiac arrest.

The two EMTs in question were at the scene on their lunch break and did nothing to help the dying woman.

One of the one young woman’s co-workers was reported as saying that when bystanders asked the EMTs for help they refused.

“I remember them saying they couldn’t do anything because they were on their break. We started screaming and cursing at them.”

The baby Eutisha was carrying died as well.

According to the EMTs however that’s not the case and they told the New York Times that they never saw Rennix. They said that even if someone had led them to her, they didn’t have the medical equipment to treat her.

City officials are still investigating this sad case.
