Tyga can churn out club friendly tracks like it’s nobody’s business. Case in point, he returns today to debut another tune called “Throw It Up.”
This song is in the same vein as much of T-Raw‘s more popular material. The formula goes as follows: greet the listeners with a few braggadocios verses and a catchy chorus over bouncy, borderline pop-influenced production.
Voila, there you have it.
Tyga reached out to fellow Los Angeles native DJ Mustard for the beat. Calculated synths, chirping hi-hats, and knocking drums fill the speakers as the YMCMB affiliate chants “Got a hundred bottles on ice/I got all my b**ces in the club tonight/Bet she leaving with me tonight/If it’s a 187, all my n***as gon’ ride and throw it up.”
