Meek Mill‘s target demographic is the streets, and that’s appealing to companies looking to align themselves with an artist fans respect. With a few endorsements to his name, Hip Hop Since 1987 spoke with the rapper about his venture with electronic brand Monster at the Dreamchasers Sports & Entertainment Summit in Philadelphia.

In collaboration with the company, the MMG affiliate will be selling an all gold set of premium headphones aptly titled “24K.”

“He wanted the best sound and I’m a fan of Meek, because he comes from the streets. He’s authentic,” said Monster CEO Noel Lee. “I love what Meek stands for and I know that he can make us authentic in the streets, because the sound on this is the real deal.”

Meek chimed in, “I like to bring energy when you in that gym working out. No matter if you doing your homework for school, however, I just want to give you energy and make you feel good when you listening to these headphones.”

The “24K” will be available for purchase the beginning of October exclusively via Meek Mill’s website. Hear more info about the collab, Dreamchasers 3, and more in the footage below.
