“Why every time I turn my back a friend got a knife?,” asks Waka Flocka Flame in his track “Judge For You.” With a new visual in tow, the Atlanta by way of Queens rapper stands tall, despite the weariness of his surroundings.

Since timing is everything in Hip-Hop, this release could be directly correlated to a public spat Waka and former partner in rhyme, Gucci Mane, recently had on Twitter. A dramatic beat, sampling Adele’s “Skyfall,” inspires some candid rhymes about haters and naysayers from the Brick Squad Monopoly frontman.

“It’s been shaky with him. I got shot, he didn’t shoot back. My best friend died in the studio he records in today,” Waka explained, speaking on Gucci in a recent interview with The Breakfast Club.

The fallen comrade he’s referring to is Slim Dunkin, who’s referenced numerous times in “Judge For You.” Hear the cut below.
