Earlier in the summer, Jadakiss discussed working on a collaborative mixtape with Memphis rapper Yo Gotti. Hip-Hop Wired discussed that and more with the latter at this year’s BET Hip-Hop Awards.

“Me and Jadakiss got something coming. We about 10 songs in,” said the Cocaine Music rapper, emphatically. This conflicts with Kiss’ earlier claims that the project was done, but it does ensure that the two artists have been adamantly working to deliver something to the streets.

However, the duo have neither a timetable for its release or a proper title. In typical Gotti fashion, he explained, “No title yet; we gon’ let the streets give us a title.”

If we gathered anything from our brief discussion with Gotti, it’s that he’s moving fast. But that’s to be expected since he recently inked a major labe deal with Epic Records, which will support the release of his forthcoming album, I Am.

Expect that to hit shelves November 19. See Yo Gotti’s explanation for signing with L.A. Reid below.
