Childish Gambino isn’t slacking on debuting new material, as he preps his new album Because The Internet. Today, he returns with more rhymes and harmonies on a track called “3005.”
“I used to care what people thought, but now I care more,” raps a clearly introspective Gambino. Formally known as Donald Glover, the actor, rapper, and comedian hybrid empties his thoughts on loneliness, trust, love and more on wax.
This may be alarming to some, because of the emotionally written message he posted via Instagram last week. People speculated that this was a cry for help, but the rapper said he was just venting during an interview with PEOPLE magazine.
“I don’t think those feelings are that different from what everybody’s feeling. Most people just don’t tell everybody,” he said.
