Childish Gambino has been far from stingy with the material set to appear on his Because The Internet project. That said, he comes bearing a new song called “Melrose.”
Here, we see the man formally known as Donald Glover tap into his emotion side. Of course, that’s a running theme in his music, but orchestral instrumentation and some heart wrenching singing by the comedian-turned-rapper creates a fresh aesthetic on this groove.
“Someone gave you all my love baby/ All my love… All my love,” chants the chorus, which sounds absolutely honest in context to the record.
Bino debuted this track via a tweet to Jhené Aiko, but it can be found in the fold of his upcoming Because The Internet album. That releases December 10. Hear “Melrose” below.
