New York newcomer Mike Milan is steadily building a buzz for his grand moment. After a brief hiatus, he returns with a new audible treat called “Masquerade” for your listening pleasure.

This track exceeds all characteristics of “I can take your girl” rap. Instead, Milan explains that he’s been there and done that, literally. Yes, those are words worthy of a proper fade.

As for the song, the New Yorker opted for a slow, ambient sound to tell the story about a woman that’s unhappy with her relationship. She’s initially mentally wayward, but that soon develops into a physical yearning for the rising MC. “Masquerade” will appear on Mike Milan’s forthcoming debut album, YOUTH.
