UPDATE: The CDQ version of ScHoolboy Q’s “Man Of The Year” has been released. Find it after the jump.

It’s clear that TDE will continue to apply pressure on the rap game with their next up, ScHoolboy, who returned with a new record set to appear on NBA Live 14 soundtrack titled “Man Of The Year.” You’ll recognize this tune if you’ve seen the director’s cut, or particularly the end of label mate Kendrick Lamar’s “B**ch Don’t Kill My Vibe” video.

In just the opening seconds, this cut proves its a worthy candidate for constant rotation in any given playlist. It’s plain and simple folks. If you’re a ScHoolboy Q fan, there’s a great chance that you’ll enjoy this release, as it dons many of the Los Angeles rapper’s alluring qualities.

Q’s in-and-out of the pocket flow is potent over the orchestral, choir-driven production, the chorus is catchy, and the rhymes are honest.

“NEW MUSIC FROM @ScHoolBoyQ 2MOR! …#OXYMORON RELEASE DATE COMING EARLY NEXT WEEK,” tweeted TDE CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith last night. That said, expect more tunes from “the real Puffy” soon.

Again, “Man Of The Year” will appear on ScHoolboy Q’s highly anticipated debut album, Oxymoron. Check out “Man Of The Year” below.
