The city of NYC is buzzing with Christmas consumership. Jay Z recently opened the third floor of Barneys New York for his “A New York Holiday” collection and his former NBA hub of the Barclays Center has some awesome sneakers for the entire Brooklyn Nets to represent in.

Premium sports apparel brand adidas has pulled the cover off the Crazy 8’s “Brooklyn Nets” edition and it is a mirror image of the jerseys the team sports during home and away games. The black-on-black-on white is telltale in its own right but adidas takes it a bit further by labeling “Brooklyn” on the upper sole and “Nets” on the tongue. In an additional stroke of fanciness, the inner sole is a map of the subway route that surrounds the Barclay Center. They think of everything these days.

Of course the “8” is dedication to the Nets’ star player, Deron Williams, who despite being a force to be reckoned with, has struggled with injury early in the 2013-2014 season.

Thankfully Nets fans and sneaker heads, the shoes won’t be a completely exclusive find. They will be available in stores nationwide on December 6 for the price of $125. Either start saving now or ask Santa to work some magic like Joe Johnson at the buzzer.

Several pics and angles are available for your perusal in the following gallery. Knock yourselves out, people.
