Did you miss us? This week’s edition of The Wrap Up: Hip-Hop Wired’s Top 10 Songs Of The Week comes a day late, but it’s just as potent as you remembered.
This assortment of tunes will reintroduce listeners to a few MCs who consistently flourish on the underground level. As always, that comes ample lyricism and ill production. Fans will hear a song by a Wu-Tang Clan legend that has ample single potential. Lastly, there’s an unreleased track a rising Chicago rapper made when he 17-years old that will make struggle rappers near and far shred their rhyme books.
All of this can be heard on The Wrap-Up in the gallery on the following pages. Did we miss anything? Be sure to let us know in the comments

Mike WiLL Made It ft. Future – “Faded”
The current king of autotune and croon ditched the falsetto on this gritty tune. Here’s to hoping that more material like this is on the way.
Mac Miller – “I Come In Peace”
The Macadellic one displayed some clever wordplay on this smooth cut.
MED & Blu ft. DAM-Funk – “Peroxide” (Prod. by Madlib)
MED and Blu have a hell of a chemistry. Add Madlib to the mix, and you have a recipe for magic.
Elzhi – “Can’t Lose”
We don’t know what’s in Detroit’s water, but the city consistently churns out quality MCs. The former Slum Village MC is definitely amongst the ranks. Hear why above.
Naledge ft. Willie The Kid – “Amnesia”
The Midwest traded potent bars over hazy production that sounds like audible Mary Jane. It’s no wonder that they have “Amnesia.”
Vic Mensa – “Children Of The Sun”
Struggle rappers, see a true MC. The song above dates back to 2010, when Mensa was just 17-years-old. His style has changed distinctively, but his bars have been potent for some time.
Casey Veggies & Rockie Fresh – “Sacrifice”
The first release from the duo’s collaborative effort, Fresh Veggies, doesn’t sound too shabby.
Raekwon ft. Melanie Fiona & Assassin – “Soundboy Kill It”
The Chef and company infused a little Reggae flavor into this track, which could be a worthy first single for Fly International Luxurious Art.
Joey Bada$$ – “Two Lips” (Prod. By J. Dilla)
The Brooklyn rapper took an unreleased Jay Dee beat to task. We say the end result is more than favorable.
Blu & Knxwledge – “DRAGINBREFF”
Though this track is criminally short, it does have the perfect combination of a dope beats and rhymes.
