No matter how much mainstream Hip-Hop forces music detailing the lifestyle of the rich and famous down listeners’ throats, the world always seems to empathize with a hungry artist clawing their way to the top. That said, the Internets receive a candid track from rap newcomer Malik Ferraud called “Feel Me.”

The MC goes through the full gamut of what starving artists go through. On the track, Ferraud speaks on everything from groupies who are more in love with the allure of laying down with a rapper than the music itself to feeling responsible for the well being of his mother and daughter. “Face it, I’mma make it/ All it takes is dedication,” he spits over eclectic production.

“Feel Me” will appear on Ferraud’s forthcoming untitled LP. As we await more news on that, lend an ear to the aforementioned cut below.
