This is the moment many have been waiting on for a while now. After releasing numerous songs and speaking in countless interviews, TDE’s next-at-bat ScHoolboy Q finally announced a release date for his long-delayed debut album Oxymoron.

Of course, Quincy had to break this news in style in a viral video co-starring his daughter, Joy. The XXL Freshman is on the phone admittedly frustrated about the LP in the opening scene. “Yeah bruh, ’cause n***as is getting hot bruh. Yo, I can’t go on Twitter. I can’t go to the store. I can’t pick Joy up from school. N***a, a first grader asked me when the album is coming,” ScHoolboy said comedically.

Meanwhile, his daughter can be seen annoyingly calling for her pops as kids do. But little did ScHoolboy know that she had a special message written down — February 25, 2014.

In recent months ScHoolboy released songs like “Yay Yay,” “Banger,” “Collard Greens,” and “Man Of The Year” to build anticipation for the LP. It’s hard to say which of these records will appear on the final tracklist, but it’s great to know that a full body of work will be out sooner than later.
