For over a year now, rapper and charismatic media personality Jean Grae has been making moves and positioning herself for a stake in other areas besides Hip-Hop. The talented and witty MC will be debuting her new sitcom, Life With Jeannie, later today (December 25) at 8 PM.

Life With Jeannie will air on the rapper’s website, and will be Web-based for the time being. In a series of funny and purposely random promo ads for the show, comics Hannibal Buress and Wyatt Cenac join Jean Grae on camera. Although the main star sells the appearance of the comedians as part of the show, they hilariously claim to not have anything to do with the series.

A press release offered a bit of detail, but still leaves a bit of mystery ahead for the fans.

“Written, directed by and starring Jean Grae, Life With Jeannie is a 30 minute web based sitcom from a unique perspective. The consummate New Yorker and artist, brings us into her world, when romance, everyday life and artistry marry,” read the release.

One thing the show certainly won’t be light on is humor, as Jean Grae is without doubt one of the funniest people on Twitter today. Along with her quick wit, good looks and the like, fans should be in for a fun time. How about that for a holiday treat?

Life With Jeannie airs tonight on JeanGrae.com at 8 PM Eastern Standard Time.
