Here’s a treat for Mobb Deep, or more particularly Prodigy fans. A year after the veteran MC teamed up with producer The Alchemist to deliver the Albert Einstein EP, the duo give fans an updated version featuring four new tracks.
The project’s title is Albert Einstein: P=mc2 Bonus EP, and it dons a hard hitting heater coined “Murder Goes Down.” Alan The Chemist passed P of the legendary M-O-B-B a boom-bap beat with understated horns and a bass line that gives the record an ominous sound. “Time reveals who really hot, who not/ Who dominates and who falls by the wayside/ These rappers lack substance,” Prodigy rhymes on the cut.
