Nas’ certified classic debut, Illmatic, turned 20 this year, and fans are getting treats for the milestone. The forthcoming Illmatic XX reissue features the famed “93 Stretch & Bobbito Freestyle,” the first time it has been officially available.

The song/freestyle session was recorded on The Stretch Armstrong and Bobbito Show on WKCR (Columbia University’s radio station) back on October 28, 1993. Also featured on the track are artists 6’9″ and Grand Wizard (and Jungle was there, too).

Bare with the extended shout out at the start, nothing but bars, with some flubs so you know it’s real, follow. Also, you’ll recognize the second verse of “Memory Lane” if you’re a Nas disciple.

Illmatic XX is in stores April 15 via Sony Legacy. Listen to the “’93 Stretch & Bobbito Freestyle” below.
