New York’s #1 radio station Hot 97 arguably has the only cast of characters where every member are notable figures in their own right. For that, VH1 decided to cut 30 minutes out of their endless reel of reality shows and give fans and listeners alike an in-depth glimpse on what really goes on behind-the-scenes.

Not that they were ever above giving people shock value when there is nothing at stake.

Miss Info gave her personalized take on the entire announcement which could walk a very thing line between success and struggle.

Finally I can talk about a project I’ve been nervous and excited about for months! Yes, your girl Miss Info and the whole Hot 97 team will be coming to your living rooms at the end of this month! March 31st — mark your calendars.

We’ve been shooting a comedy series called This Is Hot 97 since November 2013. The cast is: Ebro, Flex, Angie, Cipha Sounds, Rosenberg, Laura Stylez and myself. And yes, our show is produced by Ian Gelfand and Mona Scott-Young of Love and Hip Hop infamy. Lol!

So does that mean This Is Hot 97 will be 30 minutes of Worldstar brawls and hip hop General Hospital? Or will it be more like The Office meets that classic ’80s sitcom WKRP In Cincinnati? What do you think?

Unsurprisingly, the show will be exectively-produced by Mona Scott-Young, the brainchild behind the addicting Love & Hip-Hop series. Which comes as a relative surprise seeing that she got into an on-air squabble with Hot 97’s program director, Ebro Darden.

Check out the :30 second preview below which will also feature the antics of Peter Rosenberg, Cipha Sounds, Angie Martinez and Funkmaster Flex.

Where’s Mister Cee though?
