This one is for the heads. Diamond D drops the video for “Rap Life,” featuring Pharoahe Monche, from the Bronx-bred MC and producer’s forthcoming The Diam Piece project.

The compilation album’s lead single finds Pharoahe spittin’ ill bars overs a speeding and jangling head-nodder of a track that’s outfitted with some soulful horns, too.

“Y’all some K-Swiss ass ni**as for real man I’m Stan Smith, you hate me now you can’t stand smith.” spits Pharoahe.

We must point out that the Queens rapper is actually rocking adidas Rod Lavers in the video, though. Nevertheless, this one knocks. The Diam Piece will feature contributions from Pete Rock, Talib Kweli, Skyzoo, Rapsody, Black Rob, Camp Lo, Tha Alkaholiks, and much more.
