It’s safe to say Pharrell Williams is already man of the year. Next on his agenda is his Spring/Summer 2014 collection of tees and hats with Japanese retail biggie Uniqlo.
Skateboard P, back in March, said he would be doing more fashion design and now the multi-talented artist looks to use his “I am OTHER” brand for a joint venture with the store’s creative director, Nigo.
The capsule collection combines both men and women’s t-shirts and hats that come in 26 different styles and 14 colors. Each t-shirt sells for less than $20.
“When I first tried some of the things we produced on, I couldn’t stop myself from showing it off,” said Pharrell about his designs, both quality and at a bargain. “I was like, ‘Wow, this is going to be revolutionary’. It’s so soft—gentle to the touch—and I just could not believe the price it’s going for.”
The collection will be available for purchase online and in Uniqlo stores starting on April 14. Peep the ad in the video below.
