Rick Ross has been rapping longer than some of his fans have been breathing. But despite the rapper’s numerous accomplishments, a mass following, and the like, there’s one thing he still aspires to do — deliver a platinum album.
MMG’s general made this revelation during an interview with DJ Skee after discussing his Mastermind LP. “I just feel like it’s still sh*t I gotta do,” said Ross in response to question about how he envisions his future. “My first album, I believe it says may be 20,000 records away from platinum.”
That’s the closest Ross has come to one million sold, as each of his LPs have gone gold and Mastermind is on a trajectory to go 500K long before it achieves double that. Hear the Bawse speak with DJ Skee in the clip below.
